The affiliate program

The Osum affiliate program pays 50% recurring commissions for the first 12 months of any active account you refer. This covers all plan tiers from Pro to Enterprise. After the 12-month window ends, commissions stop. But at 50%, even a handful of referrals on mid-tier plans add up fast.

A single referral on the Business plan ($499.99/mo) at 50% means roughly $250/month for 12 months. An Enterprise referral ($2,499.99/mo) would pay over $1,200/month for a year.

The program runs through FirstPromoter. When you sign up, you also get your own 10% discount code to share with your audience, which helps with conversions.

One note from their terms: you need to include a specific FTC disclosure on any website where you promote Osum.

Cookie duration and tracking

Osum uses FirstPromoter for their affiliate tracking. The tracking is cookie-based with a standard attribution window. You get a dashboard showing your clicks, leads, and conversions in real time.

Payouts

This month's commissions are paid on the 30th of the following month. To receive a payout, you need at least $50 in commissions and at least 2 paying customers.

Payouts are via PayPal.

Promotion rules

Paid advertising is allowed. You can run Google Ads, Facebook ads, and other paid campaigns. But you can't bid on branded keywords like "Osum" or "insights.osum.com" in your ad campaigns.

You can't use Osum's name, logo, or branding assets without approval. Coupon, bargain, and cashback websites are not allowed. Self-referrals are prohibited.

Social media promotion has specific requirements: Instagram posts need the "Paid Partnership" tool, YouTube videos need "Ad" or "Paid Partnership" visible, and every post needs #Osum and #ad.
