KuCoin
KuCoin pays 40-60% of trading fees from referred users. Tiered commission structure based on performance with daily payouts in USDT.
About KuCoin
KuCoin is a cryptocurrency exchange that launched in 2017. It supports hundreds of cryptocurrencies for spot trading, futures, margin trading, and more. The platform has grown into one of the larger exchanges globally, known for listing altcoins early and offering a wide range of trading pairs.
The affiliate program
The KuCoin affiliate program pays 40-60% of the trading fees generated by your referred users, with daily payouts in USDT. New affiliates start at 40%, and the rate increases as you bring in more users and trading volume. Commission tiers are evaluated on a rolling 30-day basis.
The commission covers spot, futures, and margin trades. So the more actively your referrals trade, the more you earn. As long as they trade on KuCoin, you keep earning.
There's one caveat: if a referred user reaches VIP Level 3 or higher, their trades no longer generate commissions for you. This is worth knowing because high-volume traders are the ones who'd normally earn you the most.
Cookie duration and tracking
The cookie lasts just 7 days, which is short compared to most affiliate programs. That means someone needs to sign up within a week of clicking your link for the referral to count. KuCoin tracks everything through their in-house affiliate dashboard where you can monitor clicks, registrations, and commissions in real time.
You can create multiple referral codes for different traffic sources, which is useful for tracking which channels perform best.
Payouts
Commissions are credited the day after your referral completes a trade. Payouts are in USDT and can be withdrawn from your KuCoin account like any other balance. There's no long waiting period for commission processing.
Requirements to join
KuCoin is selective about who they accept. You'll need one of the following: a YouTube channel, social media accounts with over 5,000 followers, a crypto community with 500+ members, or a website with crypto-related content. They review applications manually, so it's not instant approval.
The regular referral program (available to all users) caps at 35% commission and runs for 365 days per referral. The affiliate program is where the higher rates and permanent relationships come in.
Who should consider this program
If you're creating content around crypto trading, exchange reviews, or cryptocurrency in general, the KuCoin affiliate program is competitive. The 40-60% revenue share on trading fees can generate significant income if your referrals are active traders. The short 7-day cookie is the main downside, so your content needs to push people toward signing up quickly rather than browsing around.
